Project Controls Manager

Turner & Townsend is looking for a Project Controls Manager to join the team, working on major pharmaceutical construction projects in the Benelux . This is an ideal role for a quality driven professional with excellent communications and client management skills.

As an experienced Project Controls Manager your responsibility is to lead the delivery of the required project control processes, templates, and tools necessary to establish an agreed baseline for cost and schedule, in addition to, monitoring performance against it incorporating the impacts of risk, opportunities and change in a controlled manner.

• Knowledge of conceptual estimating and planning, and experience in working with clients in the different FEL stages of a project and in execution of the project
• Ability to create and/or work with a cost report, monitor Earned Value, and lead performance reviews;
• Knowledge of procurement principals and ability to work with procurement to understand the requirements and inclusions in contracts and total cost of work packages;
• Understand change management principals and lead an agreed change management process and workflow on behalf of the client;
• Ability to lead in project preliminary risk evaluations, assisting the client at project initiation and beyond to ensure risks are covered in the budget and schedule, monitor risks and determine the quantitative impacts in schedule and cost project forecast;
• Ability to determine appropriate level of cost and schedule contingency for the baseline master budget and schedule, managing and tracking this contingency duration through the life of the schedule.

• A minimum of 5 years of Project Controls Manager experience is required
• Track record of achievement in Project Controls
• Skilled in Project Controls systems
• Solid understanding of Commissioning, Qualification and Validation processes
• Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities
• Have full professional proficiency in English written and spoken language.
• Experience of developing and embedding project control processes
• Experienced in developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and comfortable with being client facing.
