Junior Associate, AI Developer

We're looking for a Junior AI Developer to join our team in building cutting-edge AI solutions using NLP, RAG, and LLM technologies. You'll work directly with clients and our internal teams to bring innovative AI projects to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with clients to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Build and implement NLP models and RAG systems for specific client challenges
• Customize and fine-tune Large Language Models for various applications
• Handle multiple projects while maintaining high quality and meeting deadlines
• Prepare and process training data, run experiments, and optimize model performance
• Keep up with rapidly evolving AI technologies and best practices
• Create clear documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences

What You'll Need:

• Strong Python programming skills
• Solid grasp of NLP fundamentals (tokenization, stemming, NER)
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn)
• Working knowledge of LLMs (like GPT or BERT) and RAG systems
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms
• Sharp problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field

Preferred:

• Knowledge of Java or other programming languages
• Experience with major cloud platforms (Palantir, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
• Familiarity with Git and version control
• Previous internships or projects in AI/NLP

Compensation:  

The expected annual salary for this role is $120,000-190,000. A discretionary bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package. 

Position Location:

This position will work out of the TWG office in Santa Monica, CA. Consideration for a different working location will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
