Data Engineer

Twilio is looking for a talented Data Engineer to join their Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for leveraging data to drive business impact and experience with modern data technologies.

Skills

Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala
Experience with big data technologies like Spark, Kafka, Hive
Expertise in Database fundamentals, SQL, and distributed computing
Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Architect and implement data solutions using modern data technologies
Optimize data pipelines for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency
Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle
Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
