About the Role

A growing digital music platform, specializing in curated daily playlists, is seeking an experienced DJ and music curator with expertise in trance music. The platform aims to bridge emerging artists with established names, providing visibility to undiscovered talents through thoughtfully curated playlists. This position plays a crucial role in shaping the platform's unique editorial direction and supporting up-and-coming artists in the trance music scene.

Responsibilities:

• Curate and maintain daily playlists that blend emerging talents with established artists in the trance music genre
• Research and discover promising underground trance artists not widely featured on major platforms
• Evaluate and select high-quality tracks that align with the platform's musical direction
• Maintain awareness of current trends in trance music while developing a distinctive editorial voice

• Proven experience as a DJ or music curator, with specific expertise in trance music
• Deep knowledge of the trance music scene, including its history, subgenres, and current trends
• Demonstrated ability to discover and evaluate emerging musical talent
• Strong understanding of music curation principles and playlist building strategies
• Proficiency with Spotify platform and its features
