About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled graphic designer to create a professional, modern layout for a quilt pattern PDF. The project aims to elevate the presentation of quilting instructions to reflect a high-end, contemporary aesthetic more akin to fashion design documents than traditional crafting patterns. This remote, short-term project offers the potential for future collaboration based on the success of this initial design.

Responsibilities:

• Create a visually appealing and professional layout for the quilt pattern PDF
• Develop a modern, high-end design that breaks away from traditional quilting pattern aesthetics
• Incorporate all provided information and design elements into a cohesive document
• Ensure the layout is clear, easy to follow, and enhances the user experience for quilters

• Proven experience in graphic design, particularly in layout and document design
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a modern, sophisticated design aesthetic
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software
• Understanding of typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy
• Ability to create designs that are both visually striking and functional
