We are looking for a Business Development leader to develop solutions for and drive connections with established government sponsors while collaboratively working with our Business Development and technical teams. In this role you will work daily with other Business unit leadership and software development teams to discuss and shape opportunities. You will use your space and intel domain expertise in technical exchange meetings with our architects to refine solutions then develop white papers off those details to bring forward to your customers. You're excited to lead discussions in teams as small as three to four, but also as large as 20 with cross-company workgroups. This role requires someone to dive into every phase of business development and capture management ranging from leading proposal volumes, to managing large proposal efforts as needed. The ideal candidate operates well in a lean team and is strategic enough to shape and capture business over a two + year horizon, but also tactical enough to roll up their sleeves after attending a symposium to draft conops for our prototype teams to build from.You know you are a good fit for this role if you have strong connections to the Federal Government Defense & Intel space, and an understanding of the intricacies of operating in the local client base. You also can demonstrate existing customer relationships, while having the ability to build strong new relationships quickly. You build strong relationships grounded in trust because you can talk about mission systems in a technical manner, but also explain benefits and outcomes that make sense to leadership. You will thrive in this role if you have a desire to engage with our customers, collaborate with technologists, and are excited to drive new BD, Capture, and proposal practices that scale to meet the size of our opportunity pipeline. Finally, you are a team player, willing to listen to others' ideas, encourage collaboration from our talented employees, relentlessly drive new business, and have unwavering integrity in meeting customers' mission.Come join our team where we solve complex challenges in support of critical missions for our national security customers and we enable information operations that address urgent human security challenges faced by the world’s vulnerable populations.This is a hybrid role with local travel in the National Capital Region.What you will be doing:• Building a pipeline of potential customers and socialize the multiple offerings of Two Six Technologies• Meeting and/or exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual target numbers• Meeting with internal teams and business units to discuss leads and partnering to enhance existing relationships to expand current contracts• Managing the growth and operational efficiencies of our locally located staffWhat you will need:• Bachelor’s Degree or 10 years relevant working experience• 10+ years of Business Development and sales experience in the federal government space• 15+ years of experience with solutioning government requirements related to special programs and satellite programs for government or commercial companies• Solid experience using Salesforce for forecasting and projections or similar tool• Active clearance• Experience with the following agencies or programs desired: DoD, NRO, DARPAWhat we would like:• Proven win portfolio over $20 million• Experience as a business development leaderClearance Requirement: Active TS ClearanceLooking for other great opportunities?
