The Mill Institute, inspired by the work of philosopher John Stuart Mill, is leading a movement of K-12 and post-secondary educators to change the way students engage with the most heated issues facing society. How We Work. We are a small start-up team that operates very quickly. These traits also make us flexible and open to new ideas. We are highly self-directed, as we all work remotely from different cities. We have a lot of fun together, but we also get down to business as needed. As a team, we value direct communication and challenge each other’s ideas frequently as a way to make them better. Because we are such a young organization, we are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, who enjoys carving out poorly defined projects and turning them into clear plans of action.

15 hrs per week. 6 months in total, with the possibility of extending upon review.
