Product Manager, Uber One Member Retention

About the RoleUber has grown from "push a button and get a ride" to a way that users can "go anywhere and get anything" in their local city. The Uber One Membership team aims to make interacting with your city, and using all of Uber's services, as convenient and sticky as possible. We've built Uber One members to greater than 20M and counting, but have still only scratched the surface of what a global Membership program could do for Uber. Come build with us!As the PM for Uber One Retention, you'll be crucial in expanding our paid membership base. Your role will focus on reducing both user-initiated and inadvertent churn, enhancing free trial conversions, and improving retention rates throughout the member lifecycle. By leveraging data-driven insights and implementing targeted strategies, you'll drive member growth and ensure long-term loyalty.This role is a great fit for a PM who is excited to optimize member experiences with a compelling UX and collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously refine our retention efforts.What the Candidate Will Do:• You'll launch features that drive engagement & reduce churn across the UberEats app, Uber Rides app, and out-of-app communication channels.• You will define, own, and execute the retention product roadmap, working closely with cross-functional counterparts (Engineering, Data Science, Design, Operations, and more).Basic Qualifications:• Product Experience: Minimum 4+ years of Product Management experience delivering highly successful and innovative products with your fingerprints all over them -- and you're deeply proud of what you've accomplished• Track record: You've meaningful grown a product in a thoughtful, strategic way• Bias for action: You enjoy a fast-pace environment and solving problems quickly• Customer obsessed: You take a customer-first lens to your work, keeping the needs of various segments of customers in mind• Structured thinking/decision-making skills: You take on complex product challenges and simplify them• Data-informed and data-savvy: You find a way to get the data you need and whip it into an insightful story with no help. You know how to use this data to make decisions without getting stuck in analysis paralysis.Preferred Qualifications:• Experience working on initiatives that lower churn• Experience with experimentation and independently running A/B tests• Experience building a Subscriptions product or similar (ex. consumer product experience focused on optimizing various parts of the funnel (growth, retention) or on loyalty products building benefits)• Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including operations teams• Experience working on marketplace products• Full-stack product delivery that includes UX and backend systemsFor San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$149,000 per year - USD$165,500 per year.You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
