About the RoleUber for Business is looking for a sharp, results oriented Senior SMB Account Executive to join our newly created Entertainment team. Account Executives work closely with internal partners and cross-functional teams to strategize and build compelling solutions that help customers improve their operation using Uber’s technology. Your expertise in the workings of live music touring/festivals, film/television productions, and sports teams, as well as the underlying decision-making priorities, will be harnessed to identify business initiatives and challenges that can be aligned with our solutions.What You’ll Do• Prospect into live music touring, venues, production, and general entertainment clients.• Perform discovery to better understand logistical and hospitality challenges in the entertainment industry.• Ability to one-call close, as well as nurture longer sales cycle clients.• Manage SFDC and forecast appropriately to leadership.• Provide ideas around new use cases to explore within the industry.Basic Qualifications• 1+ years experience in a B2B full quota carrying sales cycle role: prospecting, pitching & closingPreferred Qualifications• 1+ years experience in selling to the entertainment industry• Proven success of hitting quarterly and annual sales targets• Work experience in one or more of the following industries: Technology (SaaS) Internet, IT Services, Computer Software, Leisure and Hospitality (Corporate Level or Enterprise/MM Experience)Experience working cross-functionally with internal/customer teams (e.g., Legal, Marketing, Operations)• Bachelor's degree• Ability to recognize one-call close opportunities, and engage in immediate onboarding• Experience selling transportation related products• High comfort level with closing deals over video conferencing solutions, phone, in person, and at tradeshows• Strong presentation and verbal communication skills with a solution oriented approach to working with prospects and customers• Demonstrated ability to prioritize selling activities and follow through in a timely fashion• Enjoys cold calling and opening doors to new entertainment prospects• Enjoys prospecting through non traditional channels, and conducting research to uncover new prospects.• Self-starter who has a hard-work mentality, is detail oriented, is professionally persistent, creative, and a team playerFor Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$51,000 per year - USD$56,750 per year.For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$56,500 per year - USD$63,000 per year.For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$56,500 per year - USD$63,000 per year.For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered sales bonuses & other types of comp.
