Job Description

Your life at Ubi

As Lead Snowdrop Engine Programmer, you will drive the growth and success of our Snowdrop team.

You will be responsible for leading, developing, motivating and managing a team of programming experts, as well as the collaboration with the other teams across Ubisoft.


Your main mission

  • Lead and inspire a team of top-tier engine programmers to develop and maintain state-of-the-art engine features and systems.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure our engine technologies seamlessly integrate into our ambitious projects.
  • Mentor team members, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous learning.
  • Tackle and resolve complex technical challenges, ensuring our engine’s performance and stability
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, continuously enhancing our engine’s capabilities.
  • Share knowledge, motivate and inspire others to generate new ideas;
  • Efficiently communicate and support messages and decisions from management;
  • Plan, organize, follow-up and evaluate the work of the team and its impact on the project;
  • Actively work with other department leads and facilitate the information flow;
  • Identify risks and provide relevant solutions to complex problems;
  • Estimate time to accomplish programming tasks and commit to meeting all objectives;
