At Ubisoft, the role of Lead Snowdrop Engine Programmer is an exciting opportunity for those who are passionate about technology and innovation in the gaming industry. Based in Bucharest, Romania, you’ll take the reins of our dedicated Snowdrop team, guiding a group of talented engine programmers to elevate our engine technology to new heights. In this position, you’ll collaborate across various teams, ensuring that the cutting-edge technologies we develop seamlessly integrate into thrilling gaming projects. You will inspire and mentor your team, nurturing a culture of excellence and continuous learning while tackling complex technical challenges that enhance our engine's stability and performance. Staying ahead of industry trends, you'll also facilitate knowledge sharing and motivate your colleagues to think outside the box. Communication is key in this role, as you'll work closely with department leads to ensure efficient information flow and address challenges head-on. Your experience in the game industry, particularly focusing on consoles, coupled with a strong knowledge of C++ and debugging skills, positions you as a vital asset in the evolution of our Snowdrop Engine.
