Do you know how to treat clients?We’re looking for someone like this who can:• serve as the project manager of structured transactions and advisory assignments lead by Capital Solutions team• develop and maintain financial models created by Capital Solutions team• prepare thoughtful presentation materials that explain complex products and analysis clearly and concisely for clients• prepare updates for clients whenever new and relevant proposals from the regulators and rating agencies are announced• research legal and accounting issues related to potential transaction solutions• help with ad-hoc client requests where the expertise of the team is value-add (e.g. rating agency or investor presentations)• develop strong working relationships with fixed income sales, IB coverage and fellow DCM analysts and associatesYour teamUBS FIG Capital Solutions is seeking an Associate Director to join the team. At UBS, CapSol team serves as a bridge between the coverage focused FIG investment banking and product focused FIG DCM businesses with a mandate to generate incremental revenue by innovating new products for financing and capital raising; as well as providing value added advisory services to clients’ senior level, high-priority needs. The CapSol team has won numerous internal and external awards for innovative products and market leading activities. You will be expected to develop creative ideas and solutions to help develop/improve financial products, suit client needs and lead execution of a variety of products and projects. You will also have team management responsibilities dealing with not only junior resources on projects but also with senior partners across different groups within UBS.Diversity helps us grow, together. It strengthens our business and brings value to our clientsYour expertise• a Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, engineering, math or other quantitative discipline• ideally 5+ years of experience in investment banking coverage or capital markets businesses, rating agencies, consulting firms specializing in capital markets advisory services• strong understanding of structured products, asset backed securities, and DCM products as well as alternative asset management, banking and insurance industries• advanced financial modeling skills in terms of cash flow modeling of structured products as well as financial statement modeling.
