Find out more about our program on ubs.com/careercomeback.Your teamYou will be working in the Employment Legal – Reward team and be in the New York Metropolitan area, Nashville or Raleigh. We're responsible for all compensation related employment legal issues and we support all of the UBS Business Divisions. So, you can be working on something for the Investment Bank in New York in the morning and for Wealth Management in Puerto Rico in the afternoon. You'll work within a team of lawyers (located in Nashville, Raleigh New York, Stamford and Weehawken) and be part of a global team (located in Zurich, London and Hong Kong).Your expertiseYou have:• ideally 3 – 5 years' experience practicing in government, private or in-house and exposure to deferred compensation plans design and operation as well as employment law, securities filings and related tax issues• a law degree and are admitted to practice law in the U.S. state in which you are located (or ability to obtain in-house admission as necessary)• experience working with senior stakeholders on sensitive matters• excellent technical skills, sound critical thinking, problem-solving and negotiating skills, with the ability to apply those skills to a wide range of HR, regulatory, tax and other issues• self-motivation and capability of delivering solution-oriented, firm but fair, pragmatic, and risk-based adviceYou are:• confident and authoritative with strong communication, advisory and negotiation skills• an expert at building networks and connections• commercial and business focused, with solid judgment• organized, hit deadlines and are comfortable managing significant caseload in a dynamic legal environmentAbout usUBS is the world’s largest and the only truly global wealth manager.
