Are you a fan of data analytics and automation?We are looking for a Data Analyst like you to:• develop insights using data from our surveillance systems an assist in identifying new risks and reducing false positives• utilize cutting edge tools and techniques to develop intelligence automation• present findings to stakeholders and work with IT teams to bring solutions into production• manage product deliverables and drive AMS&C process improvement, including but not limited to, design, construct, and enhance controls workflows across AMS&C• assist with setting the strategy for AMS&C program governance and reporting standards which considers developments within UBS, risk coverage, and technological capabilities• take ownership of control testing and remediation to support automation/semi-automation efforts• ensure governance processes are executed accurately and timely with appropriate escalation, which will include liaison with various teams within AMS&C and the greater Group Compliance Regulatory and Governance (GCRG)• provide direct support to various AMS&C programs to assess needs, develop requirements, and deliver results to support process improvement objectivesYour Career ComebackWe are open to applications from career returners. Our team focuses on providing metrics/reports and regulatory/policy driven control testing, development, and implementation.Your expertiseYour Expertise:• idedally, professional experience or a university degree in computer science, data analytics or data science or related degrees• ideally, at least 2-3 of practical development experience in programming languages such as SQL• strong analytical and problem-solving skills• technical writing documentation and presentation skills• hands-on experience in data extraction, transformation, analysis and loading using ETL tools• hands-on experience building data workflows to collectively bring together data, analyze, and provide output to analyst and investigative teams• experience designing logical queries to identify outliers and potential risk• financial industry experience is a plusAbout usUBS is the world’s largest and the only truly global wealth manager.
