Achieves trust in professional collegial relationships.Emergency services in La Jolla are located in the Sulpizio Cardiovascular Center with access to all major medical specialties, such as:• Accredited geriatric emergency department• Comprehensive heart center• Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center• Labor & Delivery• Level III NICUWhile not required, a cover letter is highly recommended when applying to this position.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.• California RN license.• BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications at time of hire with commitment to get ART within six (6) months of hire date.• PALS certification.• Experienced Emergency RNs only.• Minimum (1) year of Emergency Room RN experience (within the past two years).• Proven nursing clinical skills to identify and implement nursing interventions and evaluate results for Emergency Room patients.• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.• Must be able to work within a busy team environment.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS• BSN.• Relevant specialty certification (e.g. CEN, TNCC, etc.).SPECIAL CONDITIONS• Must be able to work in both Emergency Departments (Hillcrest and La Jolla) as needed.• Must be able to work various hours, days, shifts, on-call and locations based on the 24-hour Medical Center's business needs.• Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.• Selected candidate may be hired at the CNIII or CNIV level pending review and approval by the Nurse Executive Council.Pay Transparency ActAnnual Full Pay Range: $123,902 - $173,659 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)Hourly Equivalent: $59.34 - $83.17Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
