Job Summary
Responsibilities
NICU Research Support:
Supports the regulatory compliance of Neonatology research projects.
Writes human subjects permission protocols and amendments for IRB permission, and obtains other research permits as needed.
Supports a portfolio of projects; assists project team members, PIs, external partners, and stakeholders to push projects forward and achieve research goals.
Assists with the coordination of research activities, communications with partner agencies, and managing project deliverables.
Maintains technical and administrative support for a research project.
Plans and conducts quality assurance reviews and recommends changes as appropriate.
Interacts with faculty, researchers and Research Cores for research program work or information.
Collects and enters data into databases as needed.
Center Initiatives:
Disseminates relevant information internally and externally including relevant research, activities, events, programs, and opportunities.
Ensures proper IRB approvals and regulatory compliance.
Assists with the development of print and electronic resources, presentation materials, outreach efforts and a strong brand for the Center.
Analyzes program budgets and uses a moderate/high level of authority to recommend or makes budgetary recommendations.
Uses general understanding and experience to administer the delivery of services to program participants and/or beneficiaries.
Manage the daily administrative operations of the Center and support day-to-day administrative needs:
Ensure all office materials are ordered and stocked.
Use University systems to initiate financial transactions (procurement, reimbursements) and monitor spending reports for errors.
Scheduling and Meetings:
Provide administrative support for faculty-led committees and the development and documentation of Center rules, policies, and procedures.
Follow up on departmental decisions to ensure effective implementation.
Set up meetings as needed for Center.
Event Planning:
Gather all required components to create a successful and streamlined event.
Track project expenses.
Produce digital graphics and marketing materials (advertisements, posters, programs, and websites).
Liaison with outside vendors.
Other Duties:

Interacts with faculty, researchers and staff for committee work or information.
Performs other related work as needed.
