Build your career as a recruiter with our UCLA External Affairs (EA) team. This is an excellent remote or hybrid opportunity. As Associate Recruiter, you will work directly with managers and job candidates to oversee the recruitment process for mid- and early-career positions in fundraising, alumni relations, finance, IT and administration. In our positive and supportive team environment, you will grow and deepen your recruitment skills. You will make a vital contribution to bringing greater diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging to EA via our competency-based recruitment methodology. As Associate Recruiter, you will be responsible for ensuring that hiring practices are applied equitably, consistently and in compliance with university policies, and laws. Your work in EA will be purposeful and make a positive impact EA delivers vital support to UCLA by building relationships with donors, alumni and government constituents and provides critical funding for research, scholarships, healthcare and teaching.

1. Two to four years of prior experience in a recruitment role in HR, talent acquisition/management, or with a search firm.

2. Ability to understand the advancement & philanthropy field in-depth, jobs, roles, skills, organizational structure, and to identify and analyze long term staffing needs.

3. Demonstrated good judgment, confidentiality and discretion in communicating with colleagues and constituents.

5. Project management skills that facilitate ability to handle multiple searches at the same time, including client and candidate portfolios.
