Viant is seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Technical Account Manager to join our team to act in a client service role. As a Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our clients' Data Platform, 1st & 3rd party measurement needs, with a specific focus on leveraging SQL via Google BigQuery for troubleshooting, data analysis and workflow automation. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the successful implementation and optimization of our clients' advertising campaigns and strategies.This is an opportunity to be on the bleeding edge of data and measurement, collaborating and building relationships with clients at top global brands and ad agencies.The ideal candidate will have a combination of exceptional project management and client service skills, as well as knowledge of the advertising technology landscape. You should have a strong understanding of client service best practices and SQL experience.THE DAY TO DAYPost-sales Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact for technical inquiries & issue resolution; actively support our clients' Data Platform, 3rd party measurement, and Viant's Advanced Reporting servicesProject manage and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Business Intelligence, and Operations, to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of technical solutionsAct as a trusted advisor to key customers, understanding their technical requirements and implementing technical solutions for key customers through aligning our products/services to meet their needs.Provide ongoing training and documentation for internal sales and operations teams on measurement reporting and best practices to promote knowledge sharingTroubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve technical issues related to data integration, reporting discrepancies, and performance gaps, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution.Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize Google BigQuery SQL to extract and analyze large datasets, deriving actionable insights & automation to improve advertising campaign performance and ROIGREAT TO HAVE3+ years of relevant experience in Account Management, Project Management and/or Ad OperationsStrong client service skills, as well as knowledge of the prominent technologies within ad tech: on-boarding, DSPs, ad serving, programmatic buying, measurement and data targetingProblem solving attitude, with the ability to articulate complex topics to a novice or non-technical audienceProficiency with SQL via Google BigQuery along with other cloud-based systems and toolsResults-oriented, highly productive, self-starter who is able to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environmentBachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent experience, preferably in a quantitatively-oriented fieldWHO WE AREViant® (NASDAQ: DSP) is a leading advertising software company that enables marketers to plan, execute and measure omnichannel ad campaigns through a cloud-based platform.
