IT Data Architect

• Design, enhance and maintain logical and physical data warehouse models. Will work with the business and the technical team to build test best in class data warehouse. Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities • Understand, design and create physical and logical data models to meet business needs. • Develop and document overall data sourcing, data transformation and semantic layer designs.• Drive architectural alignment across multiple delivery partners for key and complex initiatives.• Evangelize the use of data quality metrics and best practices from ingest to delivery• Identify and profile data quality and data curation methods• Consult and advise technical analysts during development process.• Guide test plan creation• Ability to multitask on multiple projects in various phases• Participate in technical forums, change approval board and get all desired approvals before code migrations to production• Candidate should possess excellent problem solving abilities and data analysis• Motivated and self-driven with focus customer satisfaction• Able to work on multiple projects with different stake holders.• Identify and recommend database performance solutions and standards.• Participates in peer reviews.Nature and Scope• Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.• Nature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual, complex problems or issues. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor and/or direct customers of the process.• May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support or professional personnel.
