You have completed a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related degree program with emphasis on engineering design. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. • UT Level I, II or III certification
• Working knowledge of ASME Code

Your Opportunity

This full-time role is about making an impact on people’s lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As an Ultrasonic Testing Developer Engineer in Lynchburg, VA or Charlotte, NC, you will be part of the proven team in the Installed Base Business Unit. This role will work alongside a team of engineers and other UT specialists. This position will focus on the development and qualification of new UT techniques to satisfy specific new applications being requested by customers in the industry. Whoever fills this role will actively engage with Framatome’s domestic and international NDE team members and customers and will work alongside and be mentored by one of the nuclear industry’s foremost experts in UT inspections. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $83,000 - $112,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
