We are seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Consultant with a background in supporting large customers and / or Federal customers. This individual will play a key role is designing, implementing, optimizing, and supporting a large cyber security program. Qualified candidates are leaders in the security field with deep understanding of security-related technologies and methods, such as, Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), vulnerability assessments, endpoint detection and response (EDR) systems, perimeter defense, cybersecurity policy, intrusion detection and prevention system (IDS / IPS), network monitoring, proxy, microservices, automation, data loss prevention (DLP) and/or data analytics platforms such as Splunk or Elastic. The ideal candidate will also be able to simplify complexity, and comfortably engage with C-Suite leadership.
In this role, the candidate will apply expertise not only with cybersecurity tools and technologies, but also understanding how a holistic cybersecurity program functions and the relationship between policy, process, and technology as well as being able to assess and contribute recommendations at both the strategic and tactical levels for the program. This role sits at the intersection of cybersecurity program strategy and technical architecture and draws on the candidate’s understanding of both the technical merits and capabilities of various security tools and architectures but also how they relate to the organization’s overall cybersecurity strategy and the governance structures needed for successful implementation.
