The Unaccompanied Children Expert will provide expert consultation during capture and bid for ORR opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:

Participate in calls to discuss functions and best practices related to UC needs.
-
Provide insight into federal contracts and services related to unaccompanied and migrating children and families.
-
Gather information and insight related to client needs and reactions to ideas.
-
Provide feedback and consultation to anyone developing a solution or written proposal for federal opportunities.
-
Participate in writing descriptions and responses to forward the goal of winning work related to unaccompanied and immigrating children.
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelors in social services field.
-
8+ years of experience working in a leadership position at ORR, DHS, or USCIS
-
Understanding of federal landscape in areas that provide opportunities to C&Y
-
Ongoing relationships with current federal staff
Preferred Skills/Experience:
-
10+ years' experience working with unaccompanied children or refugee minors.

Continuous advancement in a federal office
-
Experience working with policy or practice with ORR, DHS, or USCIS for work with children, youth, or families.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:
$75,157.00 - $127,767.00
