Warehouse Equipment Operator- Fri- Sun Shift

Weekend Shift: Fri- Sun 6:30am- 7:00pm OR 7:00am-7:30pm
Compensation: $19/hour + Up to $400/month in bonus pay

SUMMARY: Participates in the daily activities and operations of the Nashville Distribution House. Performs an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. Responsible for manual and computerized tasks associated with the processing of orders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES May include the following. Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times. Retrieve and place merchandise in trailers, pallet locations, and pallet racks. Assists with the development of efficient space planning for storage areas. Utilizes hand-held computers to receive daily tasks. Picking, pulling, and packaging of orders. Processing and shipping of orders. Consistently at work and on time. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma (or GED), or equivalent years of experience. 6 months warehouse experience preferred

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Good communication, organizational, time management and mathematical skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Reliability and dependability are essential. Ability to follow detailed instructions.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend work-related information. Ability to effectively communicate and respond to questions from managers, teammates, etc.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply concepts of basic math.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to follow instructions both written and verbally.
