Lead UX Designer

As a Lead UX Designer, your key responsibilities will include applying user-centered design principles to create user-friendly interfaces, collaborating with product and development teams to align UX with business goals, conducting user research, and developing user personas and interactive prototypes. Additionally, you'll lead ideation sessions, present your concepts to stakeholders, and remain current with UX trends in FinTech and digital product design.

To qualify for the Lead UX Designer position with our client, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, along with at least 7 years of relevant UX design experience, ideally in FinTech or enterprise-level products. A strong portfolio showcasing your design and research skills is essential, as is proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD.

Success as a Lead UX Designer at our client requires a deep understanding of interaction design and usability theory, strong communication skills, and proficiency in prototyping and design tools. Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript can also greatly enhance your ability to collaborate effectively with development teams.

The Lead UX Designer position is a hybrid role located across Jersey City, Tampa, Boston, DC, or Dallas, allowing you to enjoy the flexibility of three onsite and two remote workdays a week. This collaborative environment enables you to work closely with cross-functional teams while maintaining a good work-life balance.

In the Lead UX Designer role, you will work on high-impact client-facing data applications that are crucial for finance professionals and global stakeholders. You'll be involved in evolving user interface strategies and enhancing data visualization across both internal and external platforms, making a direct impact on how users experience the products.
