Job Description:
Position requires you to perform various administrative duties that support the process of underwriting and servicing commercial lines package policies. Coordinate with Underwriting and Operations to perform rating, policy issuance, and policy servicing related duties. For assigned market segments, independently rate specific lines of business as may be assigned by Underwriting and issue policies using forms designated by the Underwriters. Work with agents and brokers servicing accounts that are bound including issuance of binders, invoices, endorsements and certificates of insurance after those requests have been approved and cleared by Underwriters.
EverSports & Entertainment Insurance is a Program Administrator, and subsidiary of Everest, whose mission is to be the recognized leader in providing contemporary insurance and risk management programs that allow for stable risk avoidance and risk transfer programs for the sports, leisure and entertainment industries.
Depending on the level of experience, responsibilities include but not limited to:

New submission and renewal clearance

Loss Controls Reports

Order various risk assessment reports/resources from internal and external sites

Prepare Renewals
-
Prepare regulatory Notices
-
Process time sensitive documents
-
Develop understanding and gain experience to quote new business and renew commercial policies in accordance with state regulations and company guidelines

Coordinate with Underwriters in rating any lines of business and using appropriate rates either through company rating system or manual rating

Process binders and invoices through the Agency Management System (ConceptOne) according to Underwriter’s instructions

Issue policies that have been quoted and bound using approved forms

Service policies by issuing endorsements designated by Underwriters using approved forms
-
Ensure that all materials required for file documentation are included in the document retention system and work with the file Underwriter should the file have documentation shortcomings

Develop and maintain proficiency in Everest policy issue and rating system as well as for all other non-Everest markets

Provide accurate data input as part of rating and policy issuance and servicing responsibilities

Stay current on relevant policy forms that are utilized in EverSports areas of specialization

Participate in EverSports training program to maintain understanding of Eversports underwriting programs

Work on special projects for Underwriting and Operations as assigned
Qualifications, Education & Experience:

Relevant work experience required.

Commercial insurance experience preferred
-
Risk Management/Insurance major is a plus

Minimum of 2 years’ experience for underwriting assistants and minimum 5 years’ experience for senior underwriting assistants
