Project Manager(Payments)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project lifecycles related to RTGS, payment processing systems, and card-related technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Lead project teams and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of payment solutions and card systems.
• Act as a point of contact between technical teams, vendors, and business units for payments-related projects.
• Monitor project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and escalation if needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards in the payments and cards domain.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and outcomes to senior stakeholders.

• Proven experience in managing projects in the banking and payments sector.
• Strong knowledge of RTGS, payment gateways, and card payment systems.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent understanding of payment processing flows and related technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 20022 is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in working with banks, financial institutions, or fintech companies.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
• Technical understanding of APIs, payment system integrations, or blockchain technologies related to payments.
