Inside Sales Specialist

Wisconsin Pump Works, Inc. is a pump sales, service, and consulting company with offices in Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Nebraska. We offer a wide range of products for municipal, industrial, and construction projects, including water and wastewater pumps. Our factory-trained technicians are always available to assist with pump repairs, motor repairs, and control panel repairs.

 

We are hiring an Inside Sales Specialist in Green Bay, Wisconsin. You will be responsible for managing projects and customers before and after the receipt of an order and for application engineering requests. You will manage projects through the complete sales cycle.


What you will do:
  • Independently manage all aspects of projects including creating job files and submittals, procurement of project equipment, coordinating project schedules directly with contractors and municipalities, and coordinating equipment commissioning and close out documentation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through interacting with customers (municipal end users, contractors, & engineers) over the phone to support product and sales.
  • Communicate project status and financials with the accounting and sales teams.
  • Coordinate bidding process with outside sales teams and estimate and quote projects as assigned.
  • Assist customer with preliminary equipment applications and selections.
  • Provide technical support to design engineers by providing supporting documentation, answering technical questions, and providing budget pricing during projects’ design phases. 


Background/ Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience within inside sales or project coordination role is required.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required. A technical degree (B.S.) in science and/or engineering is desired. 
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook. 
  • Experience managing municipal projects desired.
  • Experience working within the water/wastewater, industrial equipment, or commercial construction industries desired.
  • The ability to learn and apply technical information about the company’s products.
  • The Inside Sales team operates autonomously therefore strong time management skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet project timelines without oversight is required.
  • Must be comfortable working on-site 5 days a week in our Green Bay office.
