Our team is excited to meet you!Job Overview & ResponsibilitiesAs the world’s premiere launch provider, United Launch Alliance is looking for a Government Affairs Regulatory Specialist, with experience in regulatory affairs, to join our small, passionate team of accomplished experts. Responsibilities include:• Provide assistance and coordination to the Vice President of Government Operations & Strategic Communications on issues regarding the impact of government's regulatory activities.• Support ULA executive leadership engagements at major conferences and on FACA’s.• Assemble briefings and read-ahead material for ULA and member company leadership on agency actions, regulatory decisions, and budget requests.• Analyze pending and/or proposed legislation/regulations (including amendments), routing information to subject matter experts for input and identifying the potential impact to the company to advise key decision-makers.• Share in ULA's support for safe and innovative space launch solutions.• Support ULA's strategic goals as they relate to civil and commercial space launch.Required EducationBachelorRequired Years of ExperienceMinimum of 2 years of related work experienceBasic Qualifications• Experience with a relevant Congressional office or Committee, Trade Association and/or experience with the Executive Branch in a regulatory capacity.• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.• Strong verbal and written communication skills.• Excellent organizational and time management skills.Preferred Qualifications• Understanding of ULA's product evolution.• Familiarity of launch procurement process and launch regulatory environment.• Working knowledge of regulatory process as it relates to space and launch.• Working knowledge of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and the Federal Register.What makes ULA different?Because we understand launch success comes through the collective efforts of a team, we seek the best to join us.
