Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Electronic Technician to undertake a comprehensive range of diagnostic, preventive maintenance, calibration, and overhaul tasks on both hardware and software systems. This role requires a high level of technical expertise to effectively address complex challenges across various types of mail processing, customer service, and building equipment.Key Responsibilities• Independently execute complex testing, diagnosis, maintenance, alignment, calibration, overhaul, and revisions of electronically operated systems and equipment.• Monitor system operations and implement diagnostic procedures to identify and rectify malfunctions, ensuring optimal performance.• Conduct inspections to evaluate the quality of maintenance received and identify potential issues, initiating corrective actions as necessary.• Propose modifications to servicing and preventive maintenance protocols to enhance operational standards.• Analyze equipment failures and review operational reports to recommend improvements that prevent system deterioration.• Participate in the installation, modification, assembly, and disassembly of various systems and equipment.• Engage in training programs and assist in the creation of training materials to foster skill development among peers.• Provide technical support and perform thorough checks on the work completed by colleagues, often working autonomously.• Utilize appropriate transportation methods in the execution of assigned duties, adhering to established safety protocols.• Maintain a library of maintenance directives and comply with all safety regulations while performing tasks.• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by supervision.Required Skills• Advanced understanding of diagnostic and maintenance techniques for electronic equipment.• Proficient in testing and diagnostics for complex machinery.• Strong capability in performing alignments, calibrations, and overhauls.• Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.• Ability to provide technical guidance and training to team members.• Familiarity with safety regulations and maintenance protocols.Qualifications• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in relevant maintenance fields is preferred.• Proven experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of electronic and electromechanical systems.Career Growth OpportunitiesThis role offers the potential for professional advancement through participation in various training initiatives and collaborative projects, allowing for continuous skill enhancement and career growth within the organization.Employment Type: Full-Time
