Universal Energy Solutions is currently seeking candidates for an Entry Level Account Manager. Join our B2B Energy Sales Team at our Boston, MA location. Our newest team member will play a big role in helping UES to grow and expand our market share.

As an Entry Level Account Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products to small, medium, and large size businesses, as well as managing our existing commercial accounts. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of commercial clients, understand their energy needs, and offer customized solutions that align with their business goals. Your primary objective will be to drive growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and target prospective commercial clients through lead generation, networking, and industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing commercial clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Conduct comprehensive energy assessments to understand client energy requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineers and project managers, to ensure seamless implementation and delivery of energy solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and competitor activities to provide insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Prior experience in B2B sales, preferably in the energy industry or related field.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building successful client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of commercial energy solutions and energy management principles.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
