Pool Maintenance Labs - Lido DAO project support (decentralized autonomous organization)

Pool Maintenance Labs is a remote-first not-for-profit technical services company whose objects are education, advocacy, research and experimentation of liquid staking technologies. PML supplies technical services in the blockchain ecosystem and is looking to source a consultant with system analysis experience to support a client project at the Lido DAO. Lido software is a leading liquid staking solution, providing a simple and secure way to get network rewards for participating in securing the data integrity of the network.

Description

This is a full-time consultant position working for Pool Maintenance Labs. As part of the role, you will be assigned to a client project to support the Lido DAO. As a PML consultant, you are free to work from anywhere. This is an asynchronous remote position, and hours may vary, but most coordination touchpoints occur during times when all parties can reasonably attend.

We invite you to become a part of the Validator Set workstream. We make applications for organizations so that they, in turn, could deploy validators. On our side, we provide software, manuals and UI, as well as real-time monitoring of the quality of validators’ functionality.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of software development, from requirements analysis, software design, and implementation to documentation

• Communication and synchronization with other organization teams, including company partners

• Ensuring that various repositories are up to date with Ethereum updates

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in Python

• Expertise in System architecture and design

• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Being able to listen to criticism

• Autonomy

• Readiness to take ownership and responsibility for your work. Never heard of the words “not my role"

Preferred Experience

• Experience in TypeScript

• Knowledge of blockchain platforms, like Ethereum

• Experience in designing and implementing distributed systems
