Join the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business as the The Director of Finance & Talent!The Director of Finance & Talent manages financial operations and talent acquisition strategy for the Mendoza College of Business. Reporting to the Executive Director of College Operations and Finance and collaborating with the Dean and College leaders, this role oversees budgeting, planning, and strategic financial management. The position works closely with Department Chairs, Associate Deans, and Directors, fostering partnerships across the University, including Finance, Development, Audit, and the Provost’s Office.Responsibilities• Oversee financial operations, including accounting, contracts, procurement, and compliance, ensuring a streamlined budgeting process with department-level accountability and forecasting.• Develop a multi-year financial plan and enhanced reporting capabilities to support strategic decision-making and evaluate programs and investments in alignment with College goals.• Lead talent acquisition strategy, collaborating with leadership to implement a strategic workforce plan that reflects the College’s values and culture; oversee payroll for all employee categories.• Supervise and guide the operational team, including finance and talent development personnel.• Manage special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.Minimum Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree required.• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.• Proficient in Excel and web-based tools; highly detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in communication and customer service.• Experienced in team leadership, talent acquisition, and retention.
