Director of Digital Operations
The Director of Digital Operations will create, implement and drive all digital media strategies to align with the school's business goals and outcomes. The candidate will oversee and orchestrate the use of multiple digital platforms, including social media (like Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) search engine sites (Google is required), websites (like Drupal and preferably WordPress), and email/CRM systems (especially Salesforce), to execute paid and organic digital marketing strategies to help attain established program outcomes, such as enrollment goals. The director will help set and monitor budgets for paid media campaigns, oversee a digital marketing team to implement strategies, create and monitor data insights reports and analyze results to optimize outcomes. The candidate will design a digital operating structure to integrate automations among media platforms to help streamline reporting and the effectiveness of digital marketing... strategies. The director will also collaborate with other members of the Dean's Office Marketing, Communications, Recruitment and Enrollment (MCRE) team to meet the unit's goals, support and train faculty and staff to help optimize the school's digital marketing efforts and stay abreast of the ever-changing landscape of digital media.The University of Pittsburgh School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (SHRS) is a nationally renowned leader in the field of health care education, research, and clinical practice preparation. Job Summary
Directs marketing plans, materials, and programs to publicize and promote various activities, events, services, and products. Conducts marketing studies to maximize effectiveness of marketing efforts and oversees data extrapolation in the development of targeted marketing strategies. Develops marketing campaigns, objectives, and procedures.
Essential Functions
Develop and oversee budget management processes for the marketing department, especially media spend Lead the digital marketing operations team by mentoring, reviewing and onboarding team members Develop media strategies and budgets with faculty and staff who are program stakeholders Attend monthly meetings with faculty and program directors to foster collaboration between programs and digital marketing, and to report outcomes Oversee and determine key metrics and goals to support digital team's reporting that monitors performance and helps with strategic decision-making Lead and manage a team of digital team members to help them reach their needs of professional development Keep informed about the latest marketing operational trends and learning about evolving digital marketing tools and strategies Other duties as assigned.
