Learn more at https://hr.wisc.edu/benefits/.Job Summary:The Division of the Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Madison isseeking a talented, evocative writer to support our mission ofuplifting and promoting the academic arts departments, affiliatedpartners, and the arts in general across campus.As a member of the Division's Integrated Marketing &Communication team, this position will be expected to interact andconsult with academic, outreach, and communications staff aroundthe university to create compelling audience-focused content whichworks across a variety of media including websites, newsletters,brochures, posters, ads, reports and magazines. All materials willamplify the mission of the Division of the Arts with theoverarching objective of promoting the university across campus,the community, the state, and the world as part of our overallmarketing and communication goals.Responsibilities: Produces content in support of the goals,mission, and vision of the designated work unit.• 60% Authors a range of materials for use by internal and/orexternal audiences• 5% Consults with internal and/or external stakeholders toensure accuracy• 5% Obtains source approval of content and meets publicationdeadlines• 10% Creates and implements communication campaigns that alignwith work unit or program strategies• 10% Develops targeted marketing communications for newprograms, events, posters, and social media posts• 5% Provides assistance with graphic design, social media, andwebsite upkeep• 5% Additional responsibilities and projects as assignedInstitutional Statement on Diversity:Diversity is a source of strength, creativity, and innovation forUW-Madison.
