University Recruiter

The Recruiting team is responsible for hiring a world class group of engineering, sales, and healthcare professionals that make our goals achievable. Embedded within the recruiting team is Recruiting Programs, a unique group that manages all early careers hiring and programmatic initiatives across the recruiting organization. 

We are looking for a campus recruiter who can execute our campus strategy and support our intern program. Our ideal candidate will bring a combination of strong analytical skills (highly data oriented and reporting driven) with a creative mindset (comfortable with nuance and ambiguity). We are looking for a highly versatile individual to help us attract, recruit and retain top early careers talent. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the logistics of recruiting events including registration, inventory management, catering, and marketing to attract top talent and build Flatiron’s recruiting brand
  • Serve as full-cycle recruiting point of contact for early careers candidate population 
  • Manage relationships with various colleges, university and conferences
  • Engage with talent platforms and employer branded pages by publishing articles, running campaigns and engaging with tech and health community
  • Assist in design and execution of a university recruiting strategy to achieve university hiring goals
  • Assist in the project management and facilitation of the internship program
  • Partner with senior leaders across engineering, clinical and business roles
  • Ability to travel as required for in-person recruiting events 

About You:

  • At least 3 years of HR, People Operations or Recruiting experience with an in house recruiting team or an agency/search firm
  • Demonstrated operational skill set with strong excel expertise 
  • Organized individual with high attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes effectively 
  • Experience working with hiring managers and other stakeholders
  • Nose for value, ability to constantly prioritize and think at the goal level
  • Ability to think on your feet and change or adapt to ambiguous situations
  • A goal-oriented individual with a high sense of urgency and ability to navigate ambiguous environments. 
  • Passionate about healthcare and the fight against cancer

Bonus Points:

  • Experience working in campus recruiting or similar 
  • Experience executing diversity initiatives and programs 
  • Expertise in the Greenhouse ATS, UltiPro or similar HR software
  • Experience recruiting in a healthcare or tech company
