The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning, bookkeeping, and tax strategies for small businesses. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial health, optimizing tax savings, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Bookkeeping: - Help us to manage and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks which is currently not well tracked - Help us to record daily transactions, including sales, expenses, and payroll, ensuring proper categorization and documentation. - Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial accounts regularly. Payroll - Help us identify the best way to pay employees and vendors Tax Saving Strategies: - Identify opportunities for tax savings specific to the fashion industry and small businesses. - Work with external tax professionals or firms to ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns. - Recommend tax-efficient strategies for business operations, inventory management, and expansion. Financial Analysis: - Help us to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. - Provide insights into key financial metrics, highlighting areas of concern or opportunities for improvement. Compliance and Reporting: - Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements, including sales tax, income tax, and other relevant filings. - Help us to maintain organized financial documentation for audits and reviews. Financial Planning: - Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement short-term and long-term financial plans aligned with business goals. - Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to guide decision-making processes. - Assist in forecasting revenue, expenses, and cash flow to support budgeting and resource allocation. Communication: - Help us to present financial data and reports to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner. - Provide financial guidance and explanations to non-financial team members
