StaySavvy is a startup dedicated to providing a seamless vacation rental booking experience with significantly lower service fees compared to major platforms like Airbnb and VRBO. We are looking for an affordable, talented UI/UX designer to collaborate directly with our team in designing and fine-tuning our mobile app UI. Job Overview... We need a UI/UX designer who can work with us for several hours, real-time and one-on-one over Zoom or Google meet in the Figma design file to continuously improve our mobile app UI. The designer will collaborate closely with us during design sessions and will be responsible for continuing the design work when we’re not online. The goal is to ensure consistent progress and refinement of our product. Responsibilities: • Collaborate in real-time with the team in Figma to design and refine mobile app UI elements. • Create and improve wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for the mobile app. • Ensure designs are user-centered and meet the platform’s usability standards. • Continuously iterate on designs based on feedback and user testing. • Maintain consistency in visual elements and user experience across the mobile app. Requirements: • Proven experience as a UI/UX designer with a strong portfolio of previous mobile app UI design work. • Proficiency in Figma and other design tools. • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote setting. • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles for mobile apps. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to take and give constructive feedback. • Availability to work during agreed-upon hours for real-time collaboration and independently when needed. Duration: This project should take approximately 6 weeks at 20-40 hours per week. At least 50% of those hours would be required working in real-time with the founder to collaborate on the design file together, over Zoom or google meet. The other 50% would be offline work to continue designing until the next meeting for continued collaboration, and so-on. Compensation: This is an hourly-based contract position.
