Indoor Mapping Application - Simplified Drawings from Revit - job 2 of 2

We are looking for an experienced freelancer to assist us in creating a workflow to produce simplified drawings of indoor spaces from Revit for use in an indoor mapping application. Our current workflow is as follows: Start with Revit, Exporting Architectural, and MEP in separate batches to CAD... Import CAD into Illustrator. Trace room spaces, name them, export to SVG. Trace duct runs as single lines, export to SVG. Name equipment shapes, export to SVG. We then have scripts that convert the SVGs to geojson for display in our application via LeafletJS. I believe this can likely be streamlined and certain steps may likely be automated if we had more expertise in Revit. The project is to provide expertise in Revit API and automation capabilities that can accelerate our current process. Skills required: - Proficiency in Revit - Attention to detail This is a small consulting project that is expected to last between 1 to 3 months.
