The goal of this project is to conduct a detailed market research study on the pricing of custom CNC parts , to understand the feasibility of creating a direct-to-end-user supply chain from a large Chinese CNC shop to buyers in Latin American countries and the USA. Project Overview: Objective: To obtain market research data to validate our business idea of providing direct CNC machining services to Latin American countries (Colombia, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Peru) and the USA, including Puerto Rico. We believe our landed cost for these parts is about 25% of the current market price in these countries, and we aim to confirm this by conducting an official price study. Ensure these companies are well known and reliable suppliers in their respective countries. Request Quotes: Contact at least five manufacturers in each country. Provide them with the part specifications and attached files. Request quotes for 1, 5, and 100 units. Gather information on cost per unit, lead time, and quality assurance processes. Compile and Analyze Data: Collect and organize the quotes into a comprehensive spreadsheet. Include details such as company contact information, quoted prices, total cost for different quantities, lead times, and any additional notes from the suppliers. Analyze the data to compare prices, lead times, and overall feasibility. Summary Report: Summarize findings in a detailed report. Highlight the best options in terms of price, lead time, and quality. Provide recommendations based on the data. Requirements: Bilingual: Proficient in English and Spanish. Industry Experience: Previous experience in sourcing services within the metal industry, preferably with CNC machining. Analytical Skills: Strong ability to compile, analyze, and present data in a clear and concise manner. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with suppliers and compile findings.
