Performance Marketing Lead - Contract to hire - job 3 of 7

Hi all - we are a DTC home goods company founded in 2020 that designs and manufactures affordable and beautiful lighting products (lamps, sconces, pendants). This year we are launching dozens of new products, and this means our marketing process needs to be refined and improved as we grow our product catalog... High level stats from last month: 1k visitors/day, 78k followers on Insta, 7k newsletter subscribers, 1.12% conversion rate, AOV of $123, $4k/month in ad spend. Major questions we need to answer: - Pricing. What is the best pricing strategy for our various lines of products? Are our discounts and sales generating higher conversion rates or are they unproductive? - Conversion rate optimization. How can we improve our conversion rates for our website? What can we learn from pricing experiments and sale messaging for conversion rates for specific products? - Ad budget and performance. How should we balance our spend across Instagram and Google ads? How can we more thoughtfully monitor the performance of our various ad experiments? - Customer research. What are our current and repeat customers saying about us? Why are visitors not buying and where else are they going? - Blindspots. What else are we missing? We believe we have best practices in place across social media, email marketing, ads, and web design. But would like to identify what we might be ignoring. The ideal candidate would help us answer these questions and be a leader in shaping our marketing strategy. We have one full-time marketing person and we'd like to hire one more to bring a more data-driven approach to our marketing process. We have a goal to double our revenue this year.
