Our website is built on Shopify, and we're ready to take our SEO efforts to the next level. Position Overview... We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEO Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive SEO strategy that includes on-page, off-page, and technical SEO. This role requires setting up an initial monthly plan and then working with us on a monthly retainer basis to ensure sustained organic growth. Responsibilities: Develop and Execute SEO Strategy: Create a robust SEO strategy tailored to our e-commerce clothing brand, focusing on increasing organic search traffic and improving search engine rankings. Initial Monthly Plan: Devise and implement an initial monthly plan in the first month, outlining key actions and measurable objectives. On-Page SEO: Optimize product pages, category pages, and blog content for relevant keywords. Ensure that all on-page elements (meta tags, headers, images, etc.) are optimized for search engines. Off-Page SEO: Develop and execute a backlink strategy to improve domain authority. Identify and engage with potential partners, influencers, and relevant sites for link-building opportunities. Technical SEO: Conduct technical audits of our Shopify site and implement necessary changes to improve site speed, mobile usability, crawlability, and overall technical performance. Keyword Research and Analysis: Perform thorough keyword research to identify new opportunities and refine existing ones. Monitor and analyze keyword performance to adjust strategies as needed. Content Strategy: Collaborate with our content team to ensure that all content aligns with SEO best practices. Provide guidance on keyword usage, content structure, and linking strategies. Analytics and Reporting: Set up and manage SEO analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc.). Provide regular reports on SEO performance, including traffic, rankings, and ROI metrics. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices. Proactively recommend and implement new strategies to stay ahead of the competition. Qualifications: Proven experience as an SEO Specialist, preferably with a focus on e-commerce and Shopify platforms. Deep understanding of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors. Proficient in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex SEO concepts to non-technical team members. Experience in developing and executing successful SEO strategies for e-commerce sites. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
