Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Manager to join our team on a freelance basis. This role is centered around promoting our music band, which produces a vibrant mix of genres and regularly releases music videos, live performance clips, and behind-the-scenes content. The ideal candidate will be skilled in generating engaging content across various social media... platforms, optimizing posting times, using relevant hashtags, repurposing content, suggesting content ideas, and aligning all activities with our brand’s voice and aesthetic.
Responsibilities:
- Create and schedule regular posts, stories, and reels on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok, using raw videos and photo updates provided by us.
- Optimize content for maximum engagement, which includes determining the best posting times and strategically using hashtags.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and adhere to our branding guidelines in all social media communications.
- Generate and propose new content ideas based on the latest social media trends, ensuring our content remains fresh and engaging.
- Actively engage with users and targeted pages from our identified 'Dream 100' list to foster community growth and increase organic reach.
- Provide monthly reports on engagement metrics and adjust strategies as needed to improve results.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, particularly in the music industry or entertainment sector.
- Strong understanding of social media best practices, trends, and analytics.
- Excellent communication and creative content creation skills, with fluency in English.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with social media management tools and graphic design software is a plus.
Offer:
- This is a freelance position with a budget of $500 CAD per month.
- Flexible working hours, approximately 10-15 hours per week.
