Full performance grade level of the position is GS-13.Learn more about this agencyHelpDuties• Serve as a Management Analyst that develops and leads division-wide efforts to improve execution of civil works, military programs and business operations in support of strategic planning.• Responsible for leading strategic planning to develop strategies that improve performance and address complex challenges.• Lead division-wide data management/governance processes for regional initiatives to ensure effective use of data and related automated information systems.• Improve project delivery and business processes by driving out waste and reducing variability through the application of process and data analysis techniques such as root-cause analysis, knowledge management approaches, and lean six-sigma tools.• Maintain an in-depth understanding of the USACE Business Processes, project management knowledge areas, and supporting automated information systems to advise managers on the use of data analysis and process improvement tools.• Work with and/or leads teams consisting of members from multiple districts/organizations as well as multiple disciplines including project management, engineering, acquisition, resource management, human resources, and other supporting functions.HelpRequirementsConditions of Employment• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.QualificationsWho May Apply: Only applicants who meet one of the employment authority categories below are eligible to apply for this job.
