Community Planner (Lead Program Manager)

Serves as a lead planner and capacity program manager responsible for various airport and aviation planning activities for the Office of Airports (ARP), Phoenix Airport District Office, Western Pacific Region.DutiesRequirements• US Citizenship is required.• Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.• This position has a positive education requirement. Transcript(s) required.• If the Agency decides to interview any qualified applicant on the selection list, then all on the list who are qualified must be interviewed.QualificationsDuties continued:Serves as an ADO resource for the final review of planning projects and submittal of recommendations to management for grant financial completion, including eligible final payment or recovery as appropriate. Work is typically reviewed only at completion for success in achieving planned results. Has broad discretion to ensure the alignment of organizational goals and policies and the requirements of the projects and/or other work activities.Performs other duties as assigned.In addition to the basic requirement listed below in the EDUCATION section, to qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-I, FG/GS-13. In addition, the applicant must have the following Specialized Experience Requirement.Specialized experience is: Experience developing or approving airport layout plans. Experience developing or reviewing planning consultant contracts and scopes of work. Experience providing advisory and technical guidance to the public on airport planning, airspace, programming, airport design standards, contract administration, and in general, on all aspects of airport project implementation. Experience providing technical guidance to staff and representing management at technical meetingsYou should include relevant examples of specialized experience in your work history.
