Job Summary of Business Relationship Manager:The business plan will prioritize identifying and targeting potential customers within the division's footprint to achieve the desired resultTasked with locating, pursuing, and securing the most lucrative new business opportunities, which can then be handed off to the Territory Manager to successfully execute the company's annual sales and profit plan.Share new product ideas and menu suggestions with customers to build a relationship of trust and increase their loyalty.Responsibilities of Business Relationship Manager:• Stay fully versed in company IT tools to identify high-potential leads and track progress; leverage the Company-sanctioned database to generate leads; communicate pertinent observations and intelligence to Business Relationship Manager.• NBM uses a selective approach to their involvement in the SOS process by focusing on new accounts vulnerable to churn. They visit these customers regularly, listening to their concerns and modifying pricing and offerings to improve their retention.• The value of a strong professional network cannot be underestimated; it can help you maintain contact with key decision-makers who can further your career and business interests• Make an effort to appear at networking events, vendor meetings, and marketing conferences to establish connections with potential accounts• Teach your team members effective and practical closing techniques, enabling them to confidently close new deals and grow the company's revenueQualification of Business Relationship Manager:• Overnight travel may be required to participate in trainings, meetings, or other company events.• Excellent communication and negotiation skills required, as well as strong interpersonal skills and ability to successfully build relationships internally and externally, leveraging relations to achieve business goals.• Able to present in front of large groups of people utilizing creative presentation skills.• Highly motivated, results-driven and able to work autonomously; detail-oriented, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.• High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelors Degree preferred.• Must possess a minimum of 3 years sales experience required• Minimum 3 years of experience opening accounts greater than $0.5m, preferably in foodservice industry• Exceptional sales and interpersonal skills and proven ability to warm, convert, and close high-potential new street accounts required.
