Job Duties and Responsibilities of Class B CDL Driver: • Safely transport a plethora of goods, spanning from fresh produce and meats to dry and frozen items, to different customers’ premises securely. • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering orders on time and verifying the accuracy of each order. • Make use of machinery like hand trucks to facilitate unloading of products and efficiently maintain customer storage areas. • One should handle cash or check payments as needed and always maintain a professional demeanour. Qualifications and Experience of Class B CDL Driver: • To be eligible for this job, you must meet two criteria: You should be over 21 and have a valid CDL Class A permit, including all the mandatory endorsements. • It is recommended to hold a certification of completing high school or a GED. • To be considered eligible for this role, you must possess a spotless driving record, not surpassing two traffic violations in the past two years and having no DUI convictions within the past three years. • The ideal candidate must have a minimum of six months of experience driving commercially, or a minimum of three months in food and beverage delivery. • The capacity to meet the requirements of a DOT health evaluation.
