Job Summary of Field Sales Manager:The Field Sales Manager responsibility is to manage and promote sales actions within a particular geographic zone. This job encompasses creating and maintaining solid relationships with customers, detecting and pursuing fresh business prospects, and accomplishing sales goals. Additionally, examining market tendencies, implementing sales methods, and guaranteeing customer satisfaction are all under the Field Sales Manager purview.Responsibilities of Field Sales Manager:• Sales teams that prioritize customer relationships will often see higher levels of customer retention and satisfaction, as well as increased revenue through referrals and repeat business.• The primary responsibility is to manage deliveries as per the routing schedule developed by the transportation department. In case of any discrepancies like mis-picks or shortage of loads, address those in a timely fashion to avoid any delays in the delivery process.• Communicate with customers to request payment of outstanding balances using tactics such as coordination with the credit department and timely follow-up.• Tap into auxiliary resources to assist in the pursuit of lucrative penetration opportunities and the successful onboarding of prospective clients.• Utilize market intelligence sources and directories to locate potential customers, and follow up with prospective clients through different lead generation tactics.• Keeping customers updated on market situations, product advancements, and competitors' activities can add significant value to the customer experience and create long-term loyalty.Qualification of Field Sales Manager:• Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities.• Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business.• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.• Competitive spirit and results driven mentality.• Problem solving ability / Organization and negotiation skills.• Team up mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.• Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office products – Experience using Customer relationship management tools preferred (i.e., Salesforce).• HS Diploma or equivalent• Valid drivers license required motor vehicle record must be in good standing.• 1+ year of sales experience preferred.• Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred.Physical Qualification of Field Sales Manager:• Must be able to perform the following physical activities for described length of time.• List the required physical activities including length of time performing each activity referencing the key below.
