Job Summary of Key Account Executive:The Key Account Executive holds the responsibility of overseeing and enhancing a collection of client accounts. The position involves creating and sustaining strong connections with clients, recognizing occasions for increasing revenue and procuring customers, and attaining sales objectives. Additionally, the Key Account Executive serves as a mediator between clients and internal departments to guarantee client contentment and smooth product and service delivery.Responsibilities of Key Account Executive:• Establish and cultivate relationships with current clients by conducting periodic face-to-face meetings and consistent follow-ups.• The task at hand is to achieve the sales target by expanding and strengthening the relationships with the present clientele.• Propose novel concepts and merchandise from top suppliers and bespoke brand offerings to enhance customer engagement and fidelity. Administer product assortment to achieve profit targets and contractual adherence.• Keep customers informed about our mutual performance, product updates, and market trends through regular communication and formal business reviews.• Take charge of overseeing the sales team's performance regarding their assigned accounts and hold yourself accountable for the results:• Allow accounts to receive optimal service by coordinating with purchasing and operational departments, when required.• Enhance customers interaction time to gain maximum AE output.• Achieve or surpass goals for outstanding receivables by collaborating with central AR if necessary.• Examine all accounts thoroughly to verify adherence to program regulations, create a distinctive sales strategy, detect requirements, and augment sales.• Keep a record of your accounts by maintaining profiles which include order guides, statements, periodicals, and comprehensive reporting.Qualification of Key Account Executive:• Related Experience: A minimum of three years of sales or distribution experience required (foodservice industry or related preferred).• Experience in restaurant operations desirable. Experience using quantitative qualitative research data will be helpful.• Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as customer service and presentation abilities.• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree in Business/Marketing preferred.• Should also have demonstrated problem solving ability and negotiation skills.• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel required.
