Job Summary of Long Haul Truck Driver:Confirm the accuracy of deliveries with customers and secure appropriate signatures. Manage transactions with customers, including handling paymentsBenefits of Long Haul Truck Driver:• medical, dental, vision, life insurance• pension, strong safety culture, and much more for you your family!• 2% automatic company contribution to 401(k) with company match up to an additional 6%.Physical Requirements of Long Haul Truck Driver:• Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift requiredQualification of Long Haul Truck Driver:• Sign up for the FMCSA Clearinghouse• The minimum age limit is 21 years old• In order to meet the requirements, a valid CDL Class A, along with crucial endorsements and DOT qualifications, must be held and issued by the state of lawful residence• It is required to have experience in commercial driving for a minimum of three months with a focus on delivering food and/or beverages• Expertise in using a manual transmission is desirable; some places might mandate it• One must possess the ability to read and communicate in English fluently to be suitable for the job.
