Job Summary of Territory Sales Advisor:The Territory Sales Advisor, who serves as a Sales Representative, is accountable for overseeing and increasing sales in a specified geographical region. The duties involved include building and preserving customer associations, identifying novel business chances, and meeting sales objectives. Additionally, the Territory Sales Advisor must examine market tendencies, carry out sales techniques, and make sure that clients are pleased.Responsibilities of Territory Sales Advisor:• Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, working with the credit department and client; collect all balances due based on approved credit terms.• Leverage other resources to assist with top penetration opportunities and new accounts opening.• Develop new business; identify prospective customers by utilizing market intelligence databases, as well as business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.• Know the market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales; share information with customers as part of value-added services provided.• Drive motor vehicle to existing customers, and prospects, to ensure product delivery, which may include lifting/carrying up to 75lbs.Qualification of Territory Sales Advisor:• It is desirable to have at least one year of experience in sales.• It is advantageous to have previous work experience in the foodservice sector, culinary arts, restaurant management, or hospitality.• Exceptional aptitude in verbal and written communication along with remarkable presentation skills.• The capacity to forge connections within and outside an organization and engage in unsolicited contact to establish fresh opportunities in business.• Outstanding customer service abilities along with top-notch interpersonal skills.• A drive to compete and achieve desired outcomes.• Having the ability to solve problems is a key characteristic of successful individuals.
