CPA/Certified Accountant

Job Title: CPA/Certified AccountantLocation: Mountain View, CA (Hybrid role)Duration: 11 months contractJob Description:• Perform daily, weekly and monthly accounting functions related to US Gaap rules such as: BS and P&L accounting and flux analysis, month end close process and reporting, general accounting.Responsibilities:• Record monthly journal entries (ie- cash, intercompany, allocations), reconciliations and other close activities (ie- trial balance review, consolidations and remeasurement).• Conduct flux analysis and present month-end/quarter-end results to management.• Identify improvement opportunities and work to centralize, streamline, or automate activities.• Assist with other ad-hoc projects as needed.Experience:• Required: CPA/CA and/or Master’s degree, Accounting/month-end close background (including journal entries, Blackline reconciliations, financial analyses), SAP experience, Financial reporting and working knowledge of US GAAP. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Skills:• Preferred: Intercompany and cash accounting experience.• Ability to navigate through ambiguity, manage and coordinate multiple project assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, accepting ownership and accountability of the process and deliver on commitments.• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; interpersonal skills with the ability to work with teams cross-functionally.• Experience in public accounting and/or other large public company.Education:• CPA/CA and/or Master’s degree in relevant field.About US Tech Solutions:US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
